Subject

Hope you enjoyed dinner, {first_name}

Hi {first_name},

Thanks for choosing {business_name} tonight — really glad you stopped in. If you have 30 seconds, would you mind sharing a quick Google review? It genuinely helps a small spot like ours.

{review_link}

Thanks so much,
{your_name}

Note: Use the server's or owner's name — generic 'Restaurant Team' sender names get ignored. Don't mention specific dishes unless your POS reliably passes them.

Replace {first_name}, {business_name}, {your_name}, and {review_link} before sending. Keep STOP language in every SMS — it's required for TCPA compliance.

FAQ

Are these review request templates free to use?
Yes — copy and paste any of them. They're free and we don't require signup. The templates are written for US-based local businesses; review them against your local laws (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, state bar rules, HIPAA where applicable) before sending.
What does the timing on each template mean?
It's the recommended send window after the customer's visit, appointment, or transaction. Review request response rates drop sharply the longer you wait — most templates here target a same-day or next-day send.
Are SMS templates TCPA-compliant out of the box?
The wording (including STOP-to-opt-out language) is built for TCPA compliance, but you still need prior express written consent from the recipient before sending review-request SMS, and a registered 10DLC number. Talk to a lawyer if you're unsure about your specific setup.
Why are medical and dental templates different?
HIPAA. Healthcare templates avoid any reference to treatments, diagnosis, insurance, or patient-specific clinical detail. Consent for marketing SMS must be separate from appointment-reminder consent.
